The co-hosts on "The Real" agreed that there is nothing worse than having cracked heels, bad looking toenails, and unsightly feet. On Friday, April 7, all four of the bold and outspoken co-hosts presented a skit about foot problems with some interesting solutions to help women get their feet in shape for the spring and summer.

Host Tamera Mowry-Housley acted as the nurse with the helpful information. She gave her co-hosts tips for having the perfect feet for those beautiful spring and summer shoes they want to wear. The good part about Tamera's tips is that most people already have the ingredients for a pedicure right in their bathroom.

Foot soak

Tamera gave Jeannie Mai a simple solution that every woman can use. She told Jeannie to soak her feet in 1/4 cup of mouthwash and 1/4 cup of white vinegar in warm water. The combination of the mouthwash and the vinegar will not only clean the feet but will also make them feel good. Tamera didn't say this, but you don't have to use expensive mouthwash. A cheaper brand will produce the same results.

For toenails

People who have kept their toes closed in shoes all winter might want to wear shoes with their toes showing during the warm weather. Tamera gave Loni Love an interesting tip about beautifying her toenails so she would not be ashamed to show her them in cut-out shoes.

Tamera told Loni to put toothpaste on a toothbrush and brush her toenails just as she would brush her teeth.

Tamera explained that what toothpaste does for a person's teeth, it will do for same for toenails. People just need to be careful and don't use the same toothbrush on their teeth that you use on their toenails.

For cracked heels

Lastly, Tamera gave Adrienne Houghton a simple solution for cracked heels. She advised her to use Vicks VapoRub on her heels and wear socks to bed overtime.

By morning, the mentholated ointment would have softened the cracked heels making them sandal-ready.

As you have seen, the ingredients for your pedicure are readily available.

It is just a matter of re-purposing them for your feet. Comments on social media came from people who confessed that they have used those methods to give themselves a perfect pedicure. They didn't have to go to a spa and spend a lot of money. The products they used at home cost them only pennies.

The solutions for the feet are not the only solutions that the women of "The Real" have shared. During almost every episode, Tamera, Jeannie, Loni and Adrienne give solutions to common problems.

Watch "The Real" each weekend on the FOX network to find out which DIY solutions the hosts will share with their viewers.
