According to Independent, Michael Bay would release four “Transformers” sequels in the coming months. The director announced that Paramount has already outlined the scripts, and the sequels are in post-production. It means we can soon expect the release of "Transformers: The Last Knight," "Transformers 6," "Transformers 7," and "Transformers 8." In a recently held event, Bay showed off a bunch of footage from these upcoming films to create excitement among fans.
‘Transformers: The Last Knight’
“Transformers: The Last Knight” is one of the most anticipated films.
The story is inspired by a novel of the same name. Michael says that it will be the fifth installment of the “Transformers” film series and a direct sequel to “Transformers: Age of Extinction.” Bay collaborates with Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci for this project. Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and John Turturro reprise their roles from “Age of Extinction.” The movie will hit a theater near you this June. Paramount previously showed interest in acquiring the movie rights, but the filmmaker has joined hands with 20th Century Fox for the sequel.
‘Transformers 6.'
Marketing for “Transformers 6” has already begun. It is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The director aims to launch a new “Transformers” universe through this movie, so fans have high expectations.
Bay says that he recruited Akiva Goldsman, Ken Nolan, Zak Penn, and Jeff Pinkner to write the movie script. Akiva penned the script of “A Beautiful Mind," Ken is famous for “Black Hawk Down,” and Zak rose to prominence with the success of “Ready Player One.” Jeff is famous for writing the story of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” We can safely say that there’s never been a “Transformers” film with four excellent writers.

Last month, Paramount joined hands with Michael Bay for “Transformers 7.” The studio claims that the sequel will have some stiff competition at the box office. Mark Wahlberg is hired to play the lead role in this movie. It will hit the theaters in a few months.
