chrissy metz of "This Is Us" knows what it is like to be a star after the show has done so well for her. Now she is speaking out about the way that she would have talked to herself as a teenager if given a chance.Chrissy was actually just named one of People Magazine's "Most Beautiful, " and this is something she never thought would have happened to her twenty years ago. She is a gorgeous actor who is making her own way in the world, but as you can tell from what she says to herself twenty years ago, she didn't always feel that way about herself.
What did Chrissy reveal in this letter?
She actually started out the letter to herself saying, "Hey, Girl, Hey." She went on to explain that she wants her younger self to know she is "just as important and beautiful as Amy, the most gorgeous cheerleader in your entire school." Chrissy Metz goes on telling herself that she knows her curves and hair aren't the same, but that doesn't matter. She tells herself it is okay that she doesn't wear Guess clothing. Metz wants her younger self to know that life is not a competition, even though it may seem that way sometimes. She wants her to learn not to compare herself to everyone all the time.
This letter to herself goes on to say a lot more. Chrissy says, "Allow every smile, frown, and town you drive through to open your mind, but never close your heart.One day you will appreciate the upgrade of that cruise control but never take your eye off that winding road you have paved by being courageously you!" Chrissy is proving to her fans that other than just being an amazing actress, she has a way with words they never knew about until now.
Chrissy Metz isn't the only person from the show "This Is Us" featured in this People Magazine issue. Mandy Moore and Susan Kelechi Watson are also featured. There are a lot of beautiful women featured here including Viola Davis, Oprah Winfrey, Emma Watson and more. This may be something Chrissy Metz thought would never happen to her, but she is listed there and rocking it.
The fans love her and aren't shocked to see her there at all.
Chrissy Metz has really impressed fans of the show "This Is Us" with her portrayal of Kate. This show was already renewed and will be coming back, but fans are so happy with this show it seems like it will be around for years.
