Sunday night's episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead" found dedicated fans "eyeing" yet another huge mistake made during filming and they are calling them out on it in a big way. Fans have to admit, the March 26th installment of the "Walking Dead" was a better episode from what has been described as a fairly lame season seven of the popular drama.

Carl Grimes' error a big one, fans claim

However, despite the drama and huge buildup for the upcoming April 1 season seven finale fans could not help but notice a major blunder during the walker battle at Oceanside with Carl Grimes, who is played by Chandler Riggs.

If you didn't notice the mistake that made it past the editing room, but not past fans. Check out the scene again closely and you will notice Carl looking down the riffle's scope with his patched missing right eye! Viewers immediately noticed and blew up Twitter with their comments and criticisms of the series' growing lists of mistakes, and bad CGI moments.

Scott Gimple wants to do 20-seasons of TWD

Between the boring storylines, Rick and Michonne's ongoing lust fest, Daryl's lock up and torture which hurt us all, and the poor CGI moments with the deer, and Rick's junkyard adventure, viewer's feel pretty much cheated this season after the debut which found us all shocked, heartbroken and left mourning the loss of Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford. This is not the first similar shooting error made during filming that was overlooked by producers. The same mistake was made during a scene with the Governor a few seasons back during a shootout after Michonne had taken out his eye with a piece of glass.

Fans of the series are looking forward to next week's beginning of "All Out War" against Negan and the Saviors and moving on past the lackluster season seven in hopes that AMC will deliver an incredible Season 8.

A recent report here at BN reveals that Scott Gimple has no plans to end the series anytime in the near future. In fact, he would like to push the series to a twenty-year mark! “We are trying to do twenty years. The comic has certainly done it, and I look forward to every issue," he said. “The Simpsons has been on 26, 27 years, so that’s a challenge — so OK, challenge accepted. Done.”

That is a pretty impressive goal, which would be fantastic for fans if the show could manage to pick up a little more zest and speed, adding more beef and less filler. Time will tell. Predictions for the Season 7 finale claim that the show will end the season with a big bang, leaving fans once again anxiously awaiting the return this fall. Time will tell.

Did you notice Carl Grimes' shooting mistake? The Season 7 finale of "The Walking Dead" airs Sunday, April 1st at 9 p.m. on AMC.
