"The Walking Dead" season has only two shows remaining. With Rick and the gang organizing an attack on Negan and the Saviors, we have a lot of things to accomplish in a short period of time. The next episode is action-packed and sure to exceed fan expectations. Do not continue to read if you don't want to know. Spoilers will follow.
Sasha and Rosita
As the last episode closed, Sasha had just entered the Sanctuary and had locked Rosita out. As the screen fades to black, Rosita notices a figure in the shadows looking at her. If you hadn't guessed, it is Dwight.
But instead of trying to capture her he tells her he is ready to switch teams and betray Negan.
Sasha ends up in a cell like we saw Daryl in at the beginning of the season. At least she gets to keep her clothes, eat better food and not have to listen to "Easy Street" on replay. Negan makes her an offer to become a top lieutenant because of her "beachball lady nuts".
Eugene spends some time trying to convince her to come over to his side. He shares that watching Negan use Lucille to kill first Glen then Abraham was the most scared he had ever been. By siding with Negan, he was making sure he never had to be afraid like that again. Sasha asks Eugene to help her get something to "end it" because she knows Negan will use her to hurt those that care about her.
He slips her the suicide pills under her cell door and it looks like that isn't exactly what she had in mind.
Meanwhile, at Hilltop
Remember how Gregory had a knife and Maggie had her back turned? Well, no worries there. He is too much of a coward to do anything no matter how much he thinks about it. Good thing he spared her too.
It isn't long before she has to save him from a walker attack.
Rick and the gang have made their way to Oceanside and return before the episode ends. To Rick's surprise, Rosita is waiting for him with a visitor. When she takes Rick to Dwight, Daryl of course tries to attack him. Rosita steps in and stops him. Dwight tells them that he is ready to turn on Negan.
One more thing to know about this episode....Negan has heard about the war Rick is trying to start against him. Who could the snitch be?
