The story of the movie is set in 1971 when Monarch, a secretive organization decides to explore the forgotten island.
Soon, they realize that exploring the island is not easy as it is home to many strange animals.
'Kong: Skull Island' has all-star cast
The film stars tom hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian and Corey Hawkins. Hiddleston, known for his portrayal as “Loki” in several Marvel movies, plays James Conrad, captain of British Air Space who played a vital role in the Vietnam War.
Samuel L Jackson, who has been part of few monster movies, has an important part to play in Skull Island. Brie Larson, the pretty girl, plays the role of a war photojournalist and peace activist named Mason Weaver. She bonds with the Kong.
John Goodman is seen as a senior member of Monarch. He is in charge of the mission to Skull Island.
John C. Reilly is a lieutenant from World War II. He has been living on Skull Island for more than 28 years. Corey Hawkins plays the role of Houston Brooks, a geologist who has graduated from Yale. Another important character is San, played by Jing Tian. She is a member of Monarch and also a biologist.
