Country singer Carrie Underwood has had a lot of milestones in her life since winning "American Idol" in 2005. Her most recent one happened at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville last Saturday. She performed for the 100th time on that famous stage and she was so thrilled. She made the comment as she stood before her fans that she had dreamed of performing there ever since she was a young girl and now she has achieved that dream, and much more.

Celebrating with sweets and roses

A celebration such as this would not be the same without cake and flowers, right?

The Opry knows how to make a girl happy as they filled Carrie's dressing room with 100 roses to commemorate her special day and also an amazing tower of cupcakes that led up to a couple of yummy cakes at the top. The iconic venue has been home to many country crooners for so many years. Carrie Underwood joined the exclusive gang in 2008 and has had many special moments there ever since.

According to the "Dirty Laundry" singer, it was an honor to be standing there in the 'sacred circle,' as she called it, for her 100th performance. Fellow country girl, Connie Smith, honored her on stage with a beautiful bouquet and also a framed print as a commemorative piece as a reminder of this special day.

She was also excited to have Carrie come back home to the Opry stage.

What else is on Carrie's agenda?

Carrie Underwood is a very busy lady. Not only is she entertaining fans with her amazing music and has her own line of workout clothing, but she is also mom to two-year-old Isaiah, not to mention wife to his daddy, Mike Fisher.

How does she do it? As seen in many of her Instagram photos, Carrie keeps herself fit and feeling good by working out every day and also eating healthy. She is teaching her young son how important exercise is as well.

You can catch the 34-year-old mom-of-one at the Acm Awards on April 2 as she will be performing on stage for the big night.

She is also nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. She joins many other fellow country artists such as Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, and Reba McEntire who will be performing on Sunday night. The ACM Awards will take place at 8 pm ET on CBS.
