Season 24 of “Dancing With The Stars” looks to be exciting as some brilliant celebrity contestants show off their talent on the dance floor. With a huge variety of performers, you will be sure to have a favorite to cheer on as the professional dancers bring out their best. “Good Morning America” let the cat out of the bag today and announced the lineup of the new cast for this season.
Names of stars and their partners on 'DWTS'
As always, many different athletes and stars have been invited to join the cast of "DWTS" with a goal of winning the shiny Mirror Ball Trophy at the end.
The lineup for season 24 includes:
- Two-time World Series Champ David Ross will be dancing with Lindsay Arnold, making him the show’s first baseball star.
- Professional bull rider Bonner Bolton will be paired with Sharna Burgess. News revealed that just about a year ago, Bonner suffered a broken neck from bull riding.
- Simone Biles, who is a four-time gold medalist will be dancing with charming Sasha Farber. During the announcement on "GMA," last year’s winner Laurie Hernandez made an appearance on the show to present Simone with her “good luck” tennis shoes.
- Be ready for a crazy season when Charo entertains us with her presence while dancing with Keo Motsepe. She gave viewers a preview on "GMA."
- A veteran from “Saturday Night Live” Chris Kattan will be dancing with Witney Carson.
- Gleb Savchenko will be partnered with “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne.
- Professional wrestler and actor Mr. T will be dancing with Kym Herjavec.
- Heather Morris from “Glee” is paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
- We haven’t heard much about Nancy Kerrigan lately, but the Olympic figure skater will be dancing with Artem Chigvintsev.
- Former NFL running back Rashad Jennings is paired with Emma Slater.
- “Fifth Harmony” singer Normani Kordei is dancing with Valentin Chmerkovskiy
- Last but certainly not least, our current Bachelor Nick Viall will be dancing with Peta Murgatroyd.
The show is sure to be quite entertaining as always with a variety of personalities in all areas of the entertainment field.
Although we are still on a high from last year’s performances, everyone is anxious to see the new cast pull out all stops and kill it on the dance floor.
The premier of 'DWTS' season 24
All the stars are a little apprehensive but excited to pair up with their dancing partners and compete for this year’s title. So, get your popcorn or a favorite snack, put your feet up and be prepared to be entertained as "DWTS" premieres its 400th episode on Monday, March 20th at 8 PM EST. It will be curious to see who wins the battle for that glorious Mirror Ball Trophy in 2017.
