'The Ghazi Attack' movie review, live audience response & box-office collections

The most-awaited Bollywood war movie of the year "The Ghazi Attack" will release all across the world on February 17, 2017.

After watching the movie premiere, the celebrities are all in praise for the lead actors Rana Daggubatti and Kay Kay Menon for their mind-blowing performance on screen. The supporting star cast in the movie includes Taapseee Pannu, Atul Kulkarni, Nassar and Satyadev Kancharana.

'The Ghazi Attack': The perfect submarine drama

This is the first time that the Indian film industry has made a movie on the submarine backdrop, and through "The Ghazi Attack,"

The story of the film revolves around the fictionalized depiction of PNS Ghazi's sinking which happened during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

During those time, the Indian Navy claimed that they were behind the Ghazi destruction, while Pakistan agencies refuted India's claims, and they revealed that it was an internal problem which resulted in the mishap. The director's view on the Ghazi incident is presented in an impeccable manner through this big-budget submarine film.

Kay Kay Menon at his best

Even though Rana Daggubati is the male lead in this movie, its Kay Kay Menon who steals the show. The veteran actor who portrays the role of Captain Ranvijay Singh controlled the overall proceedings of the tale.

Menon's performance in emotional scenes was par excellence, and his character will surely stay in the minds of the viewers for a long time.

Top class cinematography, half-baked VFX

Cinematographer Madhu has done an excellent job, and he has captured some mind-blowing visuals for this movie.

One of the major flaws in this film is its visual effects.

The VFX is undoubtedly half-baked, and some of the graphic works in this film seem so amateurish.

Box-office verdict

The main competitor of "The Ghazi Attack" at the box-office is "Runningshaadi.com" that is releasing simultaneously. But considering the number of theaters in which it has released, we can quickly conclude that this film will gross more than 16 Crores by the end of its opening weekend.
