"The Walking Dead" spoilers for the second half of Season 7 promise that there will be way more action and excitement, which has fans, and Andrew Lincoln, jumping for joy, as the first half of the season got a bit stale following the shocking premiere where Negan killed off two beloved characters, Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford. However, a new wave of drama is coming in the final 8 episodes of the season, and the finale is going to be something to leap over, Andrew Lincoln has revealed.

Andrew Lincoln is very excited about 'The Walking Dead' season 7 finale

According to ComicBook.com, "The Walking Dead" will deliver some big twists and turns as Season 7 winds down with the second half of the season beginning in February. It seems that Andrew Lincoln's character, Rick Grimes, will finally start to get his groove back, and fans couldn't be happier about the news. In fact, Lincoln says that the Season 7 finale is so awesome, that he literally dropped his script in the middle of reading it. "I promise you, there is one beat in 16, I dropped my script and started punching the air and did a little jig," Andrew revealed. This is great news for all the viewers who were getting bored with AMC's zombie apocalypse series as Rick and his group basically bowed down to Negan and The Saviors and gave them whatever they wanted.

In the mid-season finale, a couple of characters were killed, but Spencer and Olivia weren't exactly fan favorites, so it seems safe to say that fans are finally ready for the real drama to begin again.

Is an all-out war with Negan coming?

Many "Walking Dead" fans are hoping that the moment that got Andrew Lincoln so excited was a face-off between Rick and Negan.

Although the two men have had many face-to-face talks over the course of Season 7, that is when Rick was playing it cool. Now, Rick is ready to go back to his old ways and fight for those he loves, and that includes getting revenge on the man who killed Glenn and Abraham. Fans could see an all-out war when the series returns with new episodes, and they're very excited about the possibilities.
