The actor's take on King Arthur is generating buzz

As Entertainment Weekly teases, the new preview showcasing Charlie as King Arthur debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con and it is an intense clip. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and also stars Jude Law, Annabelle Wallis, Eric Bana, and a host of others.

The movie premieres in theaters on May 12 and has been generating a lot of talk for quite some time now.

Deadline notes that the new clip showcasing Hunnam as King Arthur was also slated to air during Sunday's football playoff games and viewers do get a peek at Jude Law in the character of Vortigern in this new trailer. This is a project that will showcase Charlie in a very different way than what fans got with “Sons of Anarchy” and his character of Jackson “Jax” Teller, and everybody is excited to see how this opportunity plays out. Fans know that the actor intensely prepared for the role and many hope that it will serve as a vehicle to bring more big-screen roles for Charlie.

Charlie raves about his experience with the project

Hunnam previously shared via E! Online that he and Ritchie became quite close, and over the course of the six-month shoot Charlie and Guy became almost like brothers. The actor adds that he's never had such a good time with a director in his career and it sounds as if everybody working on the project is excited to see it finally hit movie screens.

There is a strong cast involved in this one and this will clearly be an intense film that will be exciting for Hunnam's fans to watch.
