Bethenny Frankel's former husband, Jason Hoppy, has just been busted for harassing and stalking the "Real Housewives of New York City" star. According to a report by TMZ on January 31, Hoppy turned up at their daughter Bryn's school last Friday morning and yelled, "I will destroy you" at the reality star. In turn, Hoppy was promptly arrested for harassment and stalking.

The outlet claimed Hoppy went off on Frankel as she dropped their 6-year-old off at her school in Manhattan and noted that Frankel told police that her former husband had been bombarding her with "hundreds of abusive emails, phone and FaceTime calls." A short time later, Hoppy was taken into custody at his NYC apartment.

Bethenny Frankel has not yet commented on the news of Jason Hoppy's arrest, nor has he released a statement.

Bethenny Frankel's boyfriend Dennis Shields is in the midst of her drama with Jason Hoppy

Months after their divorce was finalized, Hoppy reportedly began harassing her current boyfriend, Dennis Shields, by sending him emails. In response, Shields sent a letter of cease and desist his way in November. Frankel began dating Dennis last year after being linked to a number of men, including Michael "Mac" Cerussi, Eric Stonestreet, and Warren Lichtenstein.

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy's divorce took longer than their marriage lasted

Frankel and Hoppy tied the knot in 2010 and parted ways with one another in late 2012.

However, because they were at war over Frankel's finances and Hoppy's alleged involvement in her company, their divorce wasn't finalized until last year. Although the couple was able to come to an agreement for their daughter in June 2014, their dispute over their finances and the division of their property kept their divorce proceedings in motion until July 2016.

"The Real Housewives of New York City" is expected to return to Bravo TV later this year for season nine, but thus far, a cast announcement has not been made in regard to whether or not Bethenny Frankel will be featured.
