Gone are the days when as a kid you heard the teacher say, "Study hard so when you grow up you can be president". These were the common extraordinary #educational standards teachers aimed for all their students.

Study Hard?

Decades later little did I know I would witness the day when those words were no longer applicable. The last "real" American president, Barack Obama, would step down taking experience, foreign policy, and class with him. What transpired after was a Nation supplanted by a Russian supported candidate with love for Putin. His political background, none.

No basic knowledge of U.S. history, world history, foreign policy and zero morality.

I remained glued to the television like most Americans on June 8, 2017, as the voice emanating from the television said, "The president said, 'I need loyalty, I expect loyalty.' I didn't move, speak or change my facial expression in any way during the awkward silence that followed". What followed were numerous accounts from former FBI Director, James Comey, that our country is being led by corruption.

Just recently, Trump's words to France's First Lady would be, "You're in such good shape, beautiful". This of course in the presence of France's president Emmanuel Macron and Trump's wife Melania, and in a candid world view of our nation's nonchalant lecherous leader.

Amidst scandal, low ratings, and the announcement today from the Washington Post that Robert Mueller is now investigating Donal Trump Jr.'s meeting with Russian officials during the 2016 election and the investigation of Donald Trump Sr. for obstruction of justice, our nation continues to saprophytically decay from the decimated pages of our forefather's Constitution.

And although speaking metaphorically, the fact remains that our Constitution continues to be ignored by the current administration. Gone are tolerance and our pledge of "a Nation...indivisible, with liberty and justice for all".

Our Future Generation?

Running for the Senate seat or the Presidency in our country has become a joke amongst the rest of the world.

With the announcement of Kid Rock running for Senate next year and rumors of Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson running for the 2020 presidency, I wonder which other celebrity is about to announce they are qualified to run this country?

Perhaps, the interview Jimmy Kimmel had with kids about health care sums up our country's divisiveness and callousness best.

The future of our disillusioned uninspired generation.
