Donald Trump Jr. released the emails that were linked to the meeting and notified that New York Times was about to release the emails.According to the media, the meeting offered him Kremlin-linked information about Hillary Clinton. President Trump has also been inculpated that Russia tried to vandalize the electoral campaign of his contender and former First Lady, Hilary Clinton
He has denied the allegations stating that the meeting with Russian lawyer had nothing to do with the presidential crusade. Revelation from the emails
The emails date back to the time when Mr. Trump was an unconfirmed nominee from the Republican party for the Presidential run. The emails Mr. Trump Jr. received, promised documents from Russia that would incriminate Mrs. Clinton. The emails were from a mediator Rob Goldstone who is a British music publicist.
The emails from Goldstone also stated that the information contained was very high-level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr.Trump.
Russian businessman Aras Agalarov and his son Emin arranged the meeting that took place at Trump Tower in 2016. The meeting was attended by Mr. Trump Jr, his brother-in-law Jared Kushner, the campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Russian lawyer Ms. Natalia Veselnitskaya.
