Feud between Mama June and Sugar Bear brewing
The fight is on between Sugar Bear and Mama June. During an outburst during the “From Not to Hot” reunion, the couple appeared to be headed to both “Fist City” and the Georgia courts. Sugar Bear wants to see his daughter, Honey Boo Boo. With Mama June against that, he will have his work cut out for him as he fights both the recently-thin mother and the court system in their home state of Georgia.
“Fist City” was almost a real location on the set of “From Not to Hot.” Sugar Bear ripped off his shirt. The mad father even lunged at Pumpkin, the older daughter of Mama June and older sister of Honey Boo Boo.
He shouted at Mama June, threatening legal action against his former common law wife.
Pumpkin got in on the fight on the "From Not to Hot" reunion show, as she shouted obscenities and made accusations. There is no love lost between Pumpkin and Sugar Bear.
The force
Mama June didn't take Sugar Bear's actions sitting down. She yelled back, taunting him to take her to court. Despite the fact she is less than half the woman she was just a few months ago, after a series of weight-loss surgeries, Mama June proved she is still a force to be reckoned with.
The force of Mama June will be taken on in the Georgia court system. In Georgia, Sugar Bear will have to “legitimize” Honey Boo Boo, seeing as she was conceived and born out of wedlock.
It appears he is more than willing to provide all the documentation that it will take to prove Honey Boo Boo is his and to get visitation with his estranged daughter.
Despite all the shouting and threats of legal action, no one asked Honey Boo Boo what she wanted. According to the little girl, she and Sugar Bear do not currently have a true father-daughter relationship.
She claimed he only calls once in a “blue moon,” if he calls at all. At the time of publication, the last time they saw each other before the “From Not to Hot” reunion show was unknown.
If things work out the way Sugar Bear and Mama June want it, the Georgia courts will have their hands full. Sugar Bear is wanting visitation with his daughter.
Mama June pulled out all the stops, even threatening to accuse him of both physical and emotional abuse in open court.
Once again, Honey Boo Boo is caught in the middle between her warring father and Mama June. As with most children caught up in the feud between their parents, the situation is out of Honey Boo Boo's control. Perhaps the judges involved in the case will ask the little girl what she wants and abide by her wishes.
