"Fortnite" isn't new to bringing exciting and unique content to the game with each and every update and the latest patch has added another surprising concert stage to "Fortnite," similar to the Marshmello Event. The Marshmello in-game event that happened in February had more than 11 million players dancing to Marshmello's songs in the live concert at Pleasant Park.

The latest nautical-themed map has also introduced a jukebox to the Creative Mode which is currently playing Weezer songs. The reason for the Weezer songs playing constantly on the jukebox is that the American rock band is celebrating their thirteenth studio release called "The Black Album."

Weezer-themed Custom Island

The special map, which the Weezer referred to as an "Island in the sun," is one of the featured islands found on the Creative Island.

The map itself is called the "Weezer World" and players can listen to four of their songs playing on the jukebox on that island.

Unlike the Marshmello event, that was announced with the in-game posters and lasted for almost 10 minutes, the Weezer will not be performing live on the island. Still, the decoration of the island with an enormous "W" at the center and spectacular lighting will definitely be appreciated by the players. Aside from the central concert stage, there are also other places on the map like indoor mazes and large skateboard areas. Here's how the island looks like:

According to The Verge, the Weezer has attempted this sort of distinctive internet experiments in the past as well.

In 2002, during the release of their fourth studio album "Maladroit," the American rock band allowed fans to download unfinished version of their songs and give them feedback.

With Fortnite's ongoing competition with Apex Legends, players expect more similar events to take place in the game. "Avengers: Endgame" is getting closer day by day, and fans expect Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet's return to the game considering how popular it was during "Avengers: Infinity War" release.

Until then, enjoy the season 8 of "Fortnite" which features tons of new cosmetic items in its latest battle pass which players can get for free if they have already completed the overtime challenges in season 7.

There's also a new ping system added to the game after season 8 update. Data miners have also found some rare outfits and gliders in the game files added with the latest patch. You can check out the leaked skins here.
