"Kingdom Hearts 3" had two new Disney worlds revealed for the action-RPG crossover title during Microsoft's presentation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The trailers featured Sora and his friends making their way to the world of "Frozen" and revisiting the shores of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films. The trailers also revealed members of the Organization XIII and fan-favorite characters from previous titles.

Gamerant noted that Square Enix also announced special editions for the sequel. Video game fans will have the opportunity to receive new in-game items once they have pre-ordered it for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles.

'Frozen' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' worlds added in 'Kingdom Hearts 3'

"Frozen" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" in "Kingdom Hearts 3's" are additions to the existing list of magical and wondrous Disney Worlds Sora, Donald, and Goofy landed in Arandelle and they saw that the Heartless had begun invading this world. Sora saw Elsa running on the water as her steps turned the sea into ice. The group also met Elsa's younger sister, Anna, and her companions Kristoff and Olaf.

The "Frozen" trailer also featured Sora's ability to use ice-based attacks and summon the "Lion King" hero, Simba, into battle. There is also a snowboarding level in Arandelle and players can perform several tricks. The group will encounter Organization XIII member Larxene, as she tries to trick Elsa into surrendering her pure heart.

Gamespot mentioned the second game trailer which sees Sora and his friends revisit the world of the pirates as they help Captain Jack Sparrow fight off Heartless monsters in the Caribbean seas. Other familiar characters from the film franchise include Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Joshamee Gibbs, Calypso, and Davy Jones.

Aside from Sora's adventures, the third title will also see the return of fan-favorites characters Aqua, Kairi, and Axel. Riku and King Mickey encounter Aqua in the forgotten realm and she has been corrupted by the darkness in her heart. Axel and Kairi are seen together as they prepare themselves for the coming Keyblade master training.

'KH3' Special Editions announced

Square Enix announced a Deluxe Edition for "Kingdom Hearts 3" which featured several collectible items such as an art book, a Steelbook case for the base game, a Sora collectible pin, and Play Arts action figures of Sora, Donald, and Goofy. The Deluxe Edition is worth $230 and it is exclusive only in the Square Enix store.

Sony also announced a limited "KH3" PlayStation 4 Pro bundle with custom designs from the game itself. Square Enix will launch the third title on January 29, 2019, for the consoles.
