As a Battle Royale game, "Fortnite Battle Royale" gives each player only one life, and there are no respawns in the game. However, this could change soon if Epic Games, the game developer, decides to release a Gun Game limited-time Game Mode. Gun Game is a popular game mode in "Call of Duty" games, but it could soon come to the most popular battle royale game as well.

Adding this game mode would completely change "Fortnite Battle Royale" as players would have multiple lives and dying wouldn't be an end. Considering that the game creator keeps bringing new content every single week, it won't be surprising if we get this new mode soon.

Gun Game in 'Fortnite'

Reddit user Vapegodmasterman suggested a Gun Game mode a few days ago, and one of the "Fortnite Battle Royale" developers replied to the thread. The Reddit user thought it would be interesting for the players to start a match with a pistol, but to get a better gun with every kill. After all, this is how the popular mode works in "Call of Duty," so "Fortnite" developers would most likely keep the concept, but make a few changes.

EpicDustyDevo replied to the user, letting everyone know that a progressive weapon loadout is "totally on the list" at some point.

"It’s totally on the list to try a progressive weapon load out LTM at some point. Would probably bring in the storm early to keep everyone together, flip on respawns so the game reliably ends when someone makes it through the weapon ladder.

What do you guys think, gold scar down to pistols, or weaker weapons up to strong? I think an argument could be made for either way being interesting," is what the Epic Games developer wrote.

While the game developer did not completely confirm that a Gun Game mode would come to "Fortnite Battle Royale," many players are expecting to see it.

After all, there have been many different limited-time game modes, and most of them have received a great feedback from the community. Adding a Gun Game mode seems like a low-risk, high-reward move.

Improved 50v50 coming soon

"Fortnite Battle Royale" players loved the original 50v50 mode, and Epic Games decided to bring it back.

This time, the mode will be improved, there will be a battle bus for each team, and loot will be increased! At the moment, players can still enjoy High Explosives v2 event, which will soon come to an end.

While the release date of the upcoming mode hasn't been revealed yet, we can expect it to be released later this week. Considering that a new set of weekly challenges will be released on Thursday, April 12, we could see the new mode added on the same day.
