"Fortnite" Battle Royale has gained over 30 million players in less than three months, and it keeps getting more popular every day. Numerous updates keep the game interesting for its playerbase, but even though the game has many active players, many of them don't know some hidden tricks you can do. These tricks can help you with taking an enemy down, or they can simply make the game much more interesting.
Without further ado, let's check out four things in "Fortnite" Battle Royale you probably didn't know about!
Fire hydrant jumping
Some in-game towns, such as Salty Springs or Retail Row, have fire hydrants in the streets.
Many players believe that the hydrants have no purpose in "Fortnite" Battle Royale, but they are actually wrong.
If you shoot a fire hydrant, you will be able to use it to propel yourself in the air. Just like tires, fire hydrants allow players to go up and either avoid incoming attacks or surprise their enemy.
Sliding down without losing any health
When you are sliding down the mountain, you will most likely land safely without losing any health. However, sometimes your health will suffer if you move in a wrong direction, and that is why it is important to know the trick that can save your health.
Basically, when you are sliding down, make sure you counter strafe. If you are sliding down facing left, move to the right side to stick to the mountain and avoid losing health points.
If you move in the same direction you are facing, you will lose health or even die.
Supply drop riding
Picking up supply drops is essential if you want best weapons in "Fortnite" Battle Royale, so you can use it to surprise your enemies and get a few quick kills.
If you have a Launch Pad, you can use it to launch yourself in the air and land on a supply drop.
You will then be able to slowly descend and surprise the enemies who are waiting to pick it up. You can also use this strategy to gain a high-ground advantage over your opponents and easily eliminate them.
Seeing your enemies through walls
Most "Fortnite" Battle Royale players build bases, but not many of them know that they can see enemies through the walls of a base.
You can do this easily by editing a building piece, and it works best with ramps. Basically, all you need to do is to edit a ramp and the game will make it transparent, allowing you to see your surroundings, including enemies. Considering that this is not exactly fair, it won't be surprising if the "Fortnite" developer does something about it.
