The holiday season is nearing, and all sorts of talks about the Xbox One and Xbox One X have been trailing the internet. But one topic did not get past Xbox Studios' general manager Shannon Loftis. Addressing the issue of few exclusive games for the Xbox, the GM says, he's a little bit confused. Microsoft prepared some big titles for the holiday season, and he can't understand the rumors about the limited number of titles.
Talking to Game Informer, Loftis said: "I’ve heard that rumor, and I’m a little bit confused because we have a really good line-up this holiday. We’ve got the most popular game on the planet in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – the Xbox console is going to be the only place where you can play that."

She further added that more titles are lined up for the platform mainly, "Forza Motorsports 7," "Super Lucky’s Tale," and "Cuphead." That said, she also hinted on big titles coming in 2018 for the Xbox One X console, which includes "State of Decay 2," Crackdown 3," and "Seas of Thieves." It's a strong lineup according to Loftis especially if you consider titles from the Xbox One backwards compatibility list and the more 100 game titles enhanced for the platform.
Meanwhile, Shannon Loftis took a step back when "Scalebound" was mentioned. According to her, Platinum has been incredible regarding developing games, but it just wasn't the right time to pursue it. Nevertheless, she mentioned "NieR: Automata," a game developed by Platinum who's ripping the success of the team's hard work.

Minecraft has been an incredible part of the Xbox One platform, but Loftis believe, it shouldn't become an Xbox One exclusive. When asked why she wouldn't, Loftis replied, "Because Minecraft players don’t want that. Minecraft is a game that unites communities in a way that I think is unique in the games industry, so we’re embracing it."
As for the rest of the Xbox One X game exclusives, the Xbox Studio GM said that "Quantum Break" will join the Xbox One with a significant 4K enhancement this holiday season.
That means Microsoft continues to partner with game developer Remedy despite them revealing that they are exploring other options and have worked for other gaming platforms.
In other news, the Xbox One X is rumored to have some serious problem ahead of its release in Japan. Apparently, the platform doesn't have enough Japanese games to entice fans, plus the minimum order required for the region is putting a strain on the consoles marketability.
