Halloween Terror 2017 brought a lot of amazing skins, but it also brought back Junkenstein's Revenge, which is a co-op PvE mode. "Overwatch" players love this mode and are glad that Blizzard decided to bring it back this year. While playing on easy difficulty is a piece of cake, those who look for a challenge always pick a harder difficulty, and this is where things usually go wrong.

Just like in PvP modes in "Overwatch," players must know who to attack first and where to position themselves.Having the right strategy is a key to success, and here are some tips that will help you beat Junkenstein and his allies.

Team comp

Players will be allowed to pick four heroes to stand against Junkenstein, and while there are many different combinations, you should use Soldier: 76, McCree, Zenyatta and Torbjorn.

Soldier: 76 and McCree are capable of dealing massive damage, especially with their ultimate abilities. Torbjorn can also deal damage, especially with his turrets, and Zenyatta can be a healer and a damage dealer at the same time. Using this team comp will increase your chances of surviving and getting more stars in the mode.

Target priority

In order to perform well in Junkenstein's Revenge, "Overwatch" heroes have to know which targets to eliminate first. In general, the idea is to eliminate whoever is closest to your team and can deal the most damage.

However, there are some exceptions.

This should be your target priority list, so make sure you stick to it and focus on the targets at the top of the list:

  • Junkenstein's tire
  • Close zomnics
  • The Witch
  • Junkenstein
  • Shield generator
  • Other bosses (The Reaper, Junkenstein's Monster, The Summoner)
  • Zombardier
  • Far zomnics

Hero-specific tips

Soldier: 76 should use his Biotic Field to heal his teammates.

While you should have Zenyatta or Ana as your primary healer, the offense hero can help restore his teammates' health as well. Furthermore, Soldier: 76 can rocket jump from the left ledge to Junkenstein's ledge as this will allow him to quickly take down Symmetra's shield generator.

If you lead bosses to a turret, they will focus on it and avoid heroes.

This means that you can use a turret for tanking, so make sure you activate Molten Core in order for it to survive heavy hits while rest of the team focuses on eliminating the boss.

Shortly after entering the game, Reaper will teleport close to the gate. You should use McCree's Flashbang and Zenyatta's Orb of Discord to debuff him, which will allow you to take him down quickly.

Positioning

McCree should go upstairs and take care of the left side while another damage dealer takes the right side. Soldier: 76 and a healer should be in the middle, right in front of the main gate.
