Bungie has announced that they will move ahead with the launching of "Destiny 2's" Prestige Raid despite admitting they were unable to fix the problem. Earlier this week, the game developer was forced to postpone the launching after the discovery of an exploit. The said glitch has affected the legitimacy of the Fireteam and its ability to acquire the title of World First. According to Bungie, they have made several small fixes but later on discovered the possible risk it will put on the game.
'Destiny 2' Prestige Raid launch
Despite the news, Bungie said the launching of the Prestige Raid will still happen on October 18 at 10 AM Pacific.
While fixing the exploit became a challenge to the team, the developer promised that they were able to update and make sure that players will be able to get a clean finish. "We can now detect if any teams use this exploit to gain an advantage," states the Bungie blog. It's an extra work and effort on the side of Bungie, but they want to make sure winning players will be able to feel the accomplishment.
"Destiny 2's" Prestige Raid will also feature Prestige Challenges in the future. According to Bungie, the challenges will enable players to widen their tactical capacity and find various ways to approach the game.
