Raid Battles are one of the most challenging features in “Pokemon GO.” Every player knows how difficult it is to defeat a Raid Boss, and how painful it is to catch a Raid Boss that has low Combat Power and weak Individual Values. The Combat Power of a Pokemon caught after a raid is determined at the beginning of the battle. But, as usual, there is a trick in terms of how to re-roll the Raid Boss' CP. According to sub-Reddit The SilphRoad, players can use a visual CP glitch to re-roll the Raid Boss in order to get more CP.

Steps to re-roll the Combat Power

There must be 10 players to start a Legendary Raid Battle to re-roll a Raid Boss’ CP. Then players should fight the Legendary Raid Boss and reduce its CP to near death. Then 9 players should close the “Pokemon GO” application before defeating the Raid Boss, but they should not leave the raid group. The remaining player will have to defeat the Legendary Raid Boss on his own and head to the catch screen. The remaining player should then close the “Pokemon GO” application and re-open it to know the generated CP. The shown CP will also be the CP that the other 9 players could get. If the players are satisfied with the CP, then the other 9 players should immediately open the application and click the PokeGym.

Is there a limit on using the visual Combat Power glitch?

The players have a 1/9 chance of having the good CP, which is much better than getting a random roll. If players are not satisfied with the Legendary Raid Boss’ CP, they can wait for 15 minutes for the Raid Battle to reset and repeat the whole process all over again. Players can repeat this method until they acquire a good CP or until the raid time will run out.

But most “Pokemon GO” players will see it as a bit of a hassle, especially when battling tougher Legendary bosses such as Mewtwo.

Top 20 Generation 3 Pokemon

On the other hand, “Pokemon GO” Generation III creatures are expected to arrive soon, but Niantic has not announced the official release date yet. The Combat Power of the upcoming creatures can be calculated by using the existing CP formula.

Pokemon GO Hub listed all of the Generation III Pokemon and their Max CP and Individual Values. The top 20 creatures have a Max CP ranging from 2606 to 5441, and these are Walrein, Blaziken, Armaldo, Deoxys, Hariyama, Swampert, Gardevoir, Milotic, Aggron, Regice, Regirock, Jirachi, Latias, Salamence, Latios, Metagross, Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, and Slaking.
