Game company SEGA has recently announced that their upcoming action adventure “Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” will have special editions. It will also be coming to the west next year.
Coming to the west
The game company revealed that the last chapter of their popular video game series will be coming to the west on March 20, 2018. It will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and it will tell the last part of protagonist Kazuma Kiryu’s story.
After Hours Premium Edition contents detailed
The video game will have several special editions and one of them is the After Hours Premium Edition.
It will have two bar glasses, which can contain 280 ml of alcohol. These will have the design of Kiryu’s famous dragon tattoo.
A hardcover art book will be available too in the premium edition of the video game. It will contain all of the amazing artworks, but more details will be revealed at a later date.
To complete the set for drinking, the premium edition will have two ice stones and two coasters. The ice stones will have a branded heat icon, while the other one will have the kiwami heat action icon. The coasters will provide protection on table surfaces to place the glasses on, and it will have the official Tojo clan icon.
All of the items will be contained in a special outer box. It will be colored black and the dragon tattoo design.
Launch Edition contents revealed
The Launch Edition of “Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” will have smaller content than the premium edition. It will only have the hardcover art book and the video game. The standard version of the video game will only contain the game disc.
The standard and launch editions of the game will have a price tag of $59.99.
The After Hours Premium Edition will be priced at $89.99 only and it will be available in several retail stores.
Latest video game background story revealed
In the upcoming and last game title of the popular Japanese game series, Kiryu will be coming back to Kamurocho in Japan. He will also be in other parts of the country like Onomichi in the Hiroshima Prefecture.
He will be seeking some answers for something he is currently looking for.
“Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” will be powered by the great Dragon Engine, which was developed by SEGA. Players will be immersed again in the game series’ crime story, mainly melee combat, and the different mini games of different vices scattered across the area.
First game title remake coming soon
In other news, “Yakuza Kiwami” will be coming soon on Aug. 29. This is the remake of the first game title of the “Yakuza” game series. This will also be exclusive only to the PS4.
