In November, Disney+ subscribers will get to watch a brand new, first-ever, live-action Star Wars series called "The Mandalorian." It will feature a story set between the events of "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens." The new series stars Pedro Pascal and others in the series cast. Thanks to a panel and trailer reveal on Sunday (April 20), some footage and photos of what's to come for the new show have been revealed online.

'The Mandalorian' bounty hunter image
This photo right here may be the best so far as it reveals what appears to be a bounty hunter. Immediate comparisons to Boba Fett arrive. This series focuses on a lone Mandalorian gunfighter, which is what this photo appears to capture. Whether he's in hiding, engaged in a gunfight, or otherwise, is unknown.

Carl Weathers as Greef Karga
Among the photos of "The Mandalorian" cast as their characters was one featuring actor Carl Weathers. Many people who grew up in the 1980s may remember him from action films including "Action Jackson." He's now significantly older and will have the role of Greef Karga.

Gina Carano as Kara Dunne
Carano isn't new to acting, or to being tough. She competed in the world of mixed martial arts before heading to the screen. She'll take on the role of another tough character in "The Mandalorian," as she plays Kara Dunn, described as a "bit of a loner." That loner is also "having a bit of trouble reintegrating" back into the society.

More of 'The Mandalorian'
While the official trailer reveal has yet to arrive online, several images of that Mandalorian character have. In this one, he's not in hiding or in battle, but appears to be in some sort of town, possibly.
Standing ovation for the about 3-min featurette glimpse of THE MANDALORIAN that Star Wars Celebration fans just got to see.

IG-88 in action
Sometimes you have to save the best for last and this GIF showcases the interesting new droid, IG-88. He's in fierce action, spinning and firing off shots. That alone may be enough to excite Star Wars geeks for the introduction of new planets, creatures, and droids in this show!
