The NBA playoffs opened on Saturday (April 13) with Game 1s taking place in four different series. Three of those series saw the underdog teams pull off an opening-game upset. The Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets, and San Antonio Spurs won in surprising fashion. Golden State continued their quest for another title too. Below is a look at the five biggest stars from Saturday's action.

1

Stephen Curry - Golden State Warriors

The Warriors picked up a comfortable 121-104 win in their Game 1 against the L.A. Clippers. Steph Curry was the main star of the game, as he led all players with 38 points and 15 rebounds. Curry also connected on 8-of-12 three-pointers and had seven assists.

2

DeMar DeRozan - San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs picked up an upset win in their Game 1 against the No. 2 seed Denver Nuggets, 111-102. Part of that upset came thanks to a strong performance from DeRozan. He'd finish with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists.
