A look at five of the biggest results or stories coming out of Saturday's (October 6) live event down under.

IIconics win in front of home fans

For Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, this was their homecoming. The "Iconic Duo" hails from Australia and the crowd showed their support. Late in the match, the referee was distracted, as Billie slammed Naomi face-first against the apron. Asuka tried to help her partner, but Billie sent her into the crowd barrier. From there, Peyton and Billie double teamed Naomi to get the pinfall. Post-match, the crowd stood up to applaud their hometown heroes.

John Cena debuts new haircut, move

In another tag team match, fans in Australia saw John Cena make his return to the ring. He teamed up with Bobby Lashley to face Kevin Owens and Elias. The big story here, was a haircut that Cena was sporting, which some say resembled JBL's cut. Cena also debuted his "Sixth Move of Doom," an interesting punch finisher, which put down Kevin Owens for the pinfall. Post-match, he gave a heartfelt thank you to the fans on the mic.

Buddy Murphy captures Cruiserweight title

Melbourne's own Buddy Murphy fought Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight title. The close saw Alexander hitting a Spanish Fly, followed by the Lumbar Check. However, Murphy kicked out in shocking fashion, just before three. He came back by delivering a knee a bit later, as Alexander flew at him. From there, he connected on Murphy's Law to finish Alexander for the pinfall, and became the new Cruiserweight Champion. It made for the first-ever Australian star to capture a WWE singles title.

Daniel Bryan wins No. 1 contender match

Daniel Bryan battled the Miz for No. 1 contender status to a WWE title match. It was a super fast match at Super Showdown, though. Bryan collected a win in under two minutes. At one point, Bryan went for a running knee, but Miz cut him off with a knee of his own for a near fall. Miz argued with the referee over the count, and then tried to go for a Skull Crushing Finale. Bryan grabbed a quick rollup pinfall to become new No. 1 contender for AJ Styles' WWE title.

Triple H defeats Taker, Brothers destroy

In the main event, fans watched two all-time ring legends collide. Shawn Michaels and Kane were also on the scene. Everyone got involved throughout the match, and multiple referees intervened. In the end, Triple H and Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music and Triple H's Pedigree combo were enough to help Hunter pin Taker. Post-match, everyone raised hands together, but then the Brothers of Destruction attacked DX. After a Tombstone on Triple H, ultimately Undertaker chokeslammed HBK through a table.
