Twitter had several very interesting reactions to the Gubernatorial debate between Stacey Abrams and Brian Kemp. Here are some of the best of the bunch.
Republican hypocrisy
Kemp has campaigned as a hard right republican. Some people have a problem with his taking that tack while also gobbling up federal money.
Brian Kemp took federal stimulus dollars to the tune of $2,622,575 for his company in 2010; but he stood on stage tonight and doubled down on his refusal to accept federal dollars that would expand healthcare to nearly 500,000 Georgians and create jobs. #GAGovDebate

Short and to the point
Some people are just fed up with the way Brian Kemp carries himself.

Abrams making her mark
There are more than a few Twitter users who are plenty impressed with what they've seen from Stacey Abrams.
Stacey Abrams is articulate, humble, and well-informed! She is proving why she can lead Georgia in the future. I cannot, in good faith, vote for Brian Kemp. As a person who is fond of Governor Nathan Deal, Stacey Abrams is my next vote! #GaGovDebate

Standing by the flag?
Abrams apparently burnt the confederate flag a while back. People who are worried about that are worrying about the wrong thing according to this user.
If you’re covering Stacey Abrams burning a racist flag 26 years ago rather than Brian Kemp saying just last week he’s afraid of black people voting, while he disenfranchises thousands of black voters, you should quit your job. #GAGovDebate

A bit of a blind spot
Brian Kemp seems to be ignoring the fact that there are some poor, rural communities all over Georgia according to this user.
“You can’t do online voting in communities where you can’t get access to a cellphone or a computer.”

Stacey Abrams is exactly right - Brian Kemp tells everyone to “vote online” but doesn’t even consider that many rural Georgians don’t even have internet access.#GAGovDebate
