Samsung recently announced that it will launch its new flagship smartphone on August 23. The event will take place in New York City. A lot of people are excited about the upcoming Galaxy Note 8, although Samsung is already doing well with the Galaxy S8. The smartphone is expected to have some very impressive features, and the company is hopeful that this latest device will redeem them in the eyes of consumers after the worldwide recall of the disastrous Galaxy Note 7.

Leaked sales brochure revealed details

According to a report from BGR, a Galaxy Note 8 sales brochure has been leaked in Australia.

The brochure contains the smartphone’s detailed specs. It shows that the upcoming device will come with a 6.3-inch screen with Infinity Display.

The device will also come with a new and improved stylus pen. The stylus pen might feature an advanced tracking technology that works with Samsung’s new application called “Find My Mobile.”

It seems that some of the frequently cited rumors of the Note 8 were true. The rumored wireless charging technology and iris scanning sensor were also seen in the sales brochure. The iris scanning technology is expected to have a lot of usage, rather than only unlocking the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also have a new application called “Samsung Smart Switch.” The app will allow the users to easily transfer all their data from their old smartphones, and it won’t take long.

The Note 8 will also be water and dust resistant.

Impressive camera

The company used an impressive dual-lens camera with 2x optical zoom on the device. The first is a 12-megapixel optical lens camera that comes with a dual-image pixel sensor, while the second is a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. The camera will also include OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) technology.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s advance camera can even beat Apple’s iPhone 7Plus and the OnePlus 5 smartphone.

The company did not use a powerful battery?

The Note 8 might feature a 3,300mAh battery cell, which is a bit smaller compared to the Galaxy S8 Plus’ 3,500mAh battery. It seems like Samsung is already playing safe with its batteries.

The company simply does not want any issues with its new smartphone.

The device could also feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor. It will have 6GB RAM and 256 internal storage. There are rumors saying that the company might also give a freebie for the Note 8 buyers. The freebie could be a Samsung Gear VR headset.
