Lucasfilm has dropped the new #Star Wars: #The Last Jedi and it is not just overwhelming, but also confusing [VIDEO]. It looks like the video teaser makes fans more confused about what is really going to happen in “Episode 8.” In fact, it incites a lot more questions.

Will Rey (Daisy Ridley) join the Dark Side? Is there still a chance for Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) to return to the Resistance? “This is not going to go the way you think,” Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) said. With that, it looks like the much-awaited movie is about to reveal a huge twist and turn of events [VIDEO].

Kylo’s redemption

According to Forbes, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi's” trailer revealed the struggle of two powerful, but still amateur Jedis.

Evidently, Kylo Ren is still looking for his place on the Dark Side. In fact, in his space fighting scene against the Resistance, he can be seen confused about attacking his mother, General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), with his TIE Fighter. Although he managed to kill his father, Han Solo (Harrison Ford), in “The Force Awakens,” it looks like he is uncertain if he could do it to his mom.

The hesitation can be seen on his face. Although he seems angry, he is still not sure if he can do it. So, some assume that Kylo can still turn his back to the Dark Side and join the Resistance. “Kill it if you have to, that’s the only way to become what you were meant to be,” he said. He then pressed his ship’s button to lock his target. Will he kill his mother?

Rey’s turn to the Dark Side

On the other hand, Luke Skywalker is surprised to see Rey’s incredible Force powers.

"I’ve seen this raw strength only once before,” the master Jedi said. Although that kind of special ability didn’t scare him before, it now scares him. In fact, he even looked startled. As the scene is then cut to his wrecked Jedi temple, he might be talking about Kylo Ren.

However, it looks like Rey is not yet satisfied with what she is learning. In fact, she can be heard saying, “I need someone to show me my place in all this." This might be Lucasfilm’s way to trick the fans as she might be saying this to Luke to convince him to train her. It is also possible that she is not contented of his teachings and still craving to learn something else.

The sequence then panned to Kylo Ren, who was stretching his hand like he was offering his help. So, a lot of fans assumed that Rey has a plan to join the Dark Side. This, too, might be the company’s plan to mislead the viewers, so they can’t predict what will happen in the movie until they watch it. As the film director #Rian Johnson advised the fans, if they want to go clean, they should avoid watching the teaser.
