Apart from the opening ticket sales and the much-awaited “Star Wars: The Last Jedi new trailer, Lucasfilm also dropped “Episode 8” new poster. As a lot of fans are carefully scrutinizing the film’s epic teaser, some are trying to inspect and analyze the movie’s latest picture.

In fact, some say that it is an homage to the most famous villain, Darth Vader. The bill is said to be depicting Anakin Skywalker’s iconic headpiece. As some say that it is an illustration of his family tree, others believe that this means that the sequel trilogy’s penultimate installment will be incredibly dark.

An image of the Sith’s helmet

It looks like the Dark Side will win this time in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

From the trailer’s hint that Rey (Daisy Ridley) might switch sides to the poster’s image of Darth Vader, it seems like the Sith is going to rule the galaxy.

At the top of the bill, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is seen with a looming look while wearing his Jedi robe. This seems to be the crown of Darth Vader’s famous helmet. His body can also be seen in the shadows that appear to be outlining the villain’s head covering.

Rey and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) are standing side by side while they are holding their respective lightsabers. It looks like they are strategically positioned to be in that place to depict the Dark Lord’s lenses.

The poster, too, seems to pay tribute to the late Carrie Fisher.

General Leia Organa is placed in the middle of the photo where the antagonist’s nose is placed. Other characters in the picture are Chewie, the Praetorian guards, Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), R2D2, BB-8, and, C-3PO.

According to Scified, these characters are placed to illustrate the Sith’s mouthpiece.

At the bottom, the formation of Resistance’s Ski Speeders on Crait represents Anakin Skywalker’s neck piece. Check the photo below.

A possible image of the Skywalker’s family

According to Screen Rant, it seems like the depiction of Darth Vader’s image in the new “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” poster is strategically and intentionally made.

This might be a reference to the Skywalker’ family tree. The photo has his twin offspring; Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. It, too, has his grandson, Kylo Ren. There is also a theory claiming that Rey is Luke’s daughter, so she might be the Sith’s granddaughter. Does this prove that Rey is also a Skywalker?

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set to hit the theaters on December 15 in the U.S. Watch the new trailer below.
