Jenelle Evans is blaming her mom for forcing her to appear on "Teen Mom 2." Months after cutting Barbara Evans out of her life after she was awarded with full custody of Evans' oldest son, eight-year-old Jace, the reality star is speaking out about her ongoing role on "Teen Mom 2," claiming that Barbara is making her appear on the show so that she doesn't go broke in the future.

“My mom is texting me saying, ‘You better do this show. You better do this because you won’t have any money the rest of your life,'" Jenelle Evans told TMZ earlier this week after landing in Los Angeles to film the season eight reunion special with her co-stars.

"Everyone is trying to force me into it,” she added.

Jenelle Evans lost her custody battle for Jace in May

As "Teen Mom 2" fans will recall, Jenelle Evans and Barbara Evans went to court in May of this year to fight for custody of Jace years after Evans signed over her custody rights to her mom. Throughout the past several years, Evans has expressed interest in regaining custody of Jace but because of her seemingly unstable home life with her other children, including three-year-old Kaiser and eight-month-old Ensley, and her husband, David Eason.

Also reportedly adding to Evans' custody drama is a recent revelation shared by Radar Online which claimed the reality star's youngest child, daughter Ensley, tested positive for marijuana at the time of her January birth.

That said, it is unclear whether or not the drug test had anything to do with the judge's decision to award Barbara with full custody of Jace.

Jenelle Evans 'probably' won't return to 'Teen Mom 2'

Jenelle Evans took to her Instagram page a couple of weeks ago and said that because of the way she and her family are being shown on the show, she "probably" wouldn't allow MTV to film with her any more than they already have.

That said, she is currently in Los Angeles to film the "Teen Mom 2" season eight reunion special with her co-stars.

Jenelle Evans claims the MTV Network has unfairly shown her story in an incorrect manner throughout the eighth season of the reality show but has yet to officially confirm whether or not she is actually leaving the series.

To see more of Jenelle Evans, David Eason, their kids, and their co-stars, including Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Briana DeJesus, tune into "Teen Mom 2" season eight. New episodes of the reality series air on Monday nights at 9 PM on MTV.
