"Stranger Things" hooked its viewers with its spooky, vintage feels. Its premiere season in Netflix was a big hit and it was no surprise when the streaming company announced that it would be giving a green light for Season 2. As of writing, it's roughly four months away from the season 2 premiere of Netflix's '80s-inspired cult phenomenon.

The fans are excitedly awaiting the season premiere but in the meantime, they are keeping themselves busy by either re-watching season 1 all over again or reading through some spoilers and interviews of the cast and showrunners.

Recently, the creators of "Stranger Things" obliged to an interview, and they were generous enough to share some major spoilers for the fans.

During the Netflix FYSee Event in Los Angeles, "Stranger Things" creators teased the fans with some spoilers on what to expect in the upcoming season. The timing of the season 2 premiere date is quite perfect for its theme as it is scheduled to be aired around Halloween.

Nine new episodes, four new characters

In previous reports, the Duffer Brothers have already confirmed that there will be nine new episodes and four new characters in "Stranger Things" season 2. Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery will be playing the roles of Max and Billy respectively.

Max and Billy will be joining the cast and their characters will unfold in the school.

One will reportedly be joining middle school while the other will be going to the local high school, where Nancy and Jonathan are also attending. According to spoilers, someone will turn out to be bad news, and the fans are left to guess if it would be Max or Billy.

Eventually, the Duffer brothers spilled the beans and revealed that Billy will be a force to be reckoned with in "Stranger Things" season 2.

According to the series creators, while they are mainly focused on the supernatural threats surrounding the characters, they are still considering a touch of human threat, and that will be in the form of Billy.

A little bit wild

"Stranger Things" season 2 spoilers further reveal that Billy might be the spice that would shake up things in the upcoming episodes.

Aside from the supernatural threat, Billy's borderline psycho-sociopath behavior is reportedly constructed to make things more complicated in future episodes.

The Duffer Brothers also acknowledged that for "Stranger Things" Season 2, they wanted to add a human villain and Billy is their first venture into that plot twist.
