Omarosa Manigault is a married woman! The reality TV personality, who appeared in three seasons of NBC’s The Apprentice" and one season of VH1's "The Surreal Life," married longtime love John Allen Newman on Saturday, April 8th. The couple met while working at Howard University and got engaged in July of 2016.

The blessed event took place in Washington, DC at one of Donald Trump’s hotels.

From boardroom to White House

Omarosa rose to fame when she appeared in the first season of "The Apprentice." She became a household name due to her outspoken personality and famous battles with then-host Donald Trump and fellow contestants.

She went on to appear in two more seasons of the show, including the All-Star season in 2013.

Although she never won the show, she ended up making quite an impression on The Donald. Although they had a tendency to butt heads, the two ended up forming a special bond that continued well after her time on the show ended. She went on to support him throughout his run for the Presidency and even ended up working with him after he was elected.

Her dream wedding

Prior to her wedding, Omarosa visited Kleinfeld to get her dream dress, a pink-hued gown with an embellished bodice. The journey to find her gown was documented on an episode of TLC's Say Yes To The Dress,” which aired the same night as her wedding.

The pair exchanged vows surrounded by pink cherry blossoms with a champagne toast at the end. Pictures of the wedding were later shared on social media by both the bride and guests at the wedding.

Where was President Trump?

People were wondering if President Donald Trump would attend the wedding. The two now work together on a regular basis now that she serves as the assistant to the President and director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison.

Sadly, President Trump did not attend the wedding. He had a previous engagement in Mar-a-Lago, where he was meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Madame However, Kellyanne Conway was on hand to celebrate with the bride during a pre-wedding celebration earlier this week. It is unknown if Conway, or any other members of the Trump family, attended the wedding.

A long road to love

This is Omarosa’s second marriage. She was previously married to Aaron Stallworth from 2000-2005. She then dated, and was later engaged to Michael Clark Duncan from 2010-2012. Duncan died on September 3rd, 2012 after suffering from a heart attack.
