lisa marie presley's twin eight-year-old daughters Harper and Finley have been placed in protective custody after "disturbing photos and videos" were found on the personal computer belonging to their father, Michael Lockwood.
Shocking twist in Lisa Marie Presley divorce from Michael Lockwood
TMZ reports that new legal documents reveal that shocking images and videos have been discovered on Michael Lockwood's computer by his estranged wife Lisa Marie and it was all the evidence needed for authorities to make the immediate decision to take the young girls from both parents and place them in protective custody.
80 devices allegedly belonging to Michael Lockwood to be analyzed by police
Lisa Marie stated in legal documents, "I have no idea what else may be on those devices and fear that there are more and worse images and evidence in these un-analyzed devices."
A search warrant had been issued, according to TMZ, with authorities finding the shocking images after executing the search on Presley's home. However, the site adds that a source familiar with the investigation states that it was Lisa Marie who originally found the images, phoning the police.
As previously reported back in January, it was reported that Lisa Marie Presley's divorce from her fourth husband Michael Lockwood was turning very nasty.
Lockwood claimed that he had been "unfairly treated" by Lisa and was demanding $40,000 a month in spousal support, and more than $100,000 in legal fees to be paid by Presley.
Lockwood also claims that Lisa is worth over $300 million as sole heir to her late father Elvis Presley's estate. But, Lisa claims otherwise, stating that she is broke, in massive debt, and has been forced to move in with her daughter Riley Keough to pay off debts.
This however, is just a small twist in what appears to be a rather bizarre story. Unfortunately, it looks as if it will be Presley's young twin daughters who may suffer the most.
Finely and Harper have been placed in California's Child Protective Services. Lisa Marie reveals that she is devastated by the photos and videos that she claims she found on her ex-husband's computer.
Police reports state that 80 devices allegedly belonging to Lockwood were taken from the home to be analyzed. Court papers also state that there are pending allegations of sexual abuse and neglect. A trial has been set for March to determine the future of the children.
"I was shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach," Lisa Marie Presley said in the court papers filed in her ongoing divorce from Lockwood.
