Hey, "Vikings" peeps. Episode 18 is airing tonight, which means it's time to see what the new episode 19 of season 4 has in store for us. We were able to track down a few spoiler scoops from our TV Guide sources. It turns out that some major fighting drama will be taking place in this one as England will be heavy under attack from the Vikings that have come sailing through. We'll also see Aethelwulf and Ecbert get prompted into emergency action to counter this, and more!

They are not playing games

Of course, this episode also has a title, so lets go over what that is for a second.

It turns out that they've named it: "On The Eve," which sounds like a pretty simple title. Now, according to the official description, we're going to see the English countryside become the target of some major trouble, because it's described that the vicious Viking army is going to totally bum-rush the area and cause a major panic throughout!

Unfortunately, their limited description doesn't elaborate as to why this major attack happens, so we don't know if the Vikings just decided to do this because they felt like they could, or for some other reason. All we can tell you, is they do attack, and we're definitely going to get some heavy action scenes out of it as a result. It's certainly going to be interesting to see what actually prompts this big attack.

Defense plans set into motion

Next, we learn that in response to this Vikings onslaught, King Ecbert and Aethelwulf will, of course, get alerted, prompting them to go into emergency defense mode. It's described that they will attempt to defend their realm or region with everything they've got by setting up an elaborate plan.

Again, they didn't give any specific details about what their big defense plan will be, or if they'll be successful in implementing it, so that's going to be another couple of things that will be interesting to see. How far will the Vikings be able to go with their attack? Will Ecbert and company be able to chime in with a counter before they're completely wiped out?

Hopefully, these questions will get answered in this episode.

Alright, guys. That's all they gave us for this one, but they should be dropping a new promo/spoiler clip for it after episode 18 airs tonight, so you might want to look out for that. Also, it is confirmed that episode 19 is set to air next Wednesday night, January 25th,2017 at 8pm central time on the History Channel. Stay tuned.
