It has been more than a month since Bungie released “Destiny 2” on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On October 24, the developer will launch the game on Windows PC. “Destiny 2” is now available to pre-load on Windows PC so that when the release day comes, not a huge number of players will dive in the game servers to download it. According to a report by PC Gamer, only players who pre-ordered the game can pre-load it. The pre-load contains almost all the necessary files to launch the game on October 24. Players should expect to download a few files on the release day, but it would only take a few seconds to finish.

Where to pre-order the game?

Players can pre-order “Destiny 2” on Blizzard’s Battle.net. It is the same platform used for Blizzard's own games such as “Overwatch,” “Starcraft,” “World of Warcraft,” “Hearthstone,” and much more. “Destiny 2” is probably the first non-Blizzard game to be offered on Battle.net. The game is not available on other digital stores like Steam. But players can also buy it on other trusted physical retailers.

Pre-loading is recommended

The developer is encouraging players that have slow internet connections to pre-load the game because it has a massive download size. As for now, the exact download size for pre-loading the game is still unknown. But Bungie announced that the official game will require a minimum of 68GB disk space.

Players should take note that “Destiny 2” will only run on a 64-bit processor in a Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 operating system.

Nightfall Strike to Pyramidion

In other “Destiny 2” news, Bungie replaced Nightfall Strike because of some issues that players encountered with the Exodus Crash. According to a report by GameSpot, the developer changed the Nightfall Strike to Pyramidion.

Along with the said changes, Bungie also added new modifiers.

Torrent modifier

The first modifier is called Torrent. This modifier will basically turn the game’s Nightfall Strike into a Player-Versus-Environment version of mayhem clash. Torrent is an unlimited power that erupts from within. With this modifier, Guardian abilities will recharge much faster.

This feature will make the Torrent modifier like an exhibition game. Players can also use their unlimited abilities to shatter their enemies.

Zero Hour modifier

The second modifier is called Timewarp - Zero Hour. This modifier will prevent Guardians from extending their time limits. This means that players basically have no time to do anything. Zero Hour will force players to run as fast as possible through the strikes. Players should not fight small groups of enemies because of the limited amount of time set to complete the strike.
