"Tekken 7" Game Producer Katsuhiro Harada has confirmed recently that he will be at the San Diego Comic- Con next weekend and, while he did not reveal his agenda yet, fans could be hoping for some exciting news at the event. Is there any chance that he will name who will be the first DLC guest character?

DLC 1 info announced

Fresh from its release in June, "Tekken 7" is set to receive three DLC packs that will add two playable guest characters, costumes and other exciting items post launch including a story mode, The first DLC is confirmed to arrive in August while the second and third DLC packs are slated in Winter 2017 and Spring 2018, respectively.

The first DLC due for release next month will bring back the fan favorite mini-game in the franchise, Ultimate Tekken Bowl. It will also include a host of new outfits for the game characters like swimsuits, school uniforms, and idol master cosplay.

Playable guest character Comic-Con reveal possible?

Bandai Namco Entertainment already announced what to expect from DLC 1, so, what's left to tease about the game at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con is the first playable guest character that will be featured in DLC 2. When a fan asked if he will be coming to the event, Harada himself confirmed on Twitter that he will be a panel at SDCC.

He further teased that he plans to prepare some gifts for visitors this year just like in 2016 where he gifted fans with T-shirts.

Although it is a mere speculation at this point that the man will have something to show or announce regarding the game right there, anything is possible.

The placeholder files in the game hinted that one of the guest characters has a similar meter system with Akuma and Eliza. This suggests the possible addition of another character from Capcom's "Street Fighter" series, but it can also add one from other franchise like Kazuma Kiryu from "Yakuza" who also has the same meter system.

San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 20 to July 23 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. The preview night is also set to take place on July 19, a day prior to the opening.
