LG Electronics recently announced its flagship smartphone yesterday. The company has not stated the exact release date of the LG V30, but the device is expected to be released this month. Some online retailers are already accepting pre-orders for the upcoming device. The LG V30 is an enhanced version of the LG G6. It also sports some amazing features that can go head-to-head with its rivals, such as Apple and Samsung.

According to a report from Android Authority, the LG V30 features a 6.0-inch Quad HD OLED bezel-less display screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Users can easily wrap their hands around the device with its perfect aspect ratio. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 Processor. The smartphone has a 7.39-millimeter thickness, and it weighs 158 grams. The V30 is slightly thinner and lighter compared to Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Plus.

Amazing audio and video recording

Audio and video recording capabilities are the best assets of LG’s “V” series. Music lovers will love LG V30 because it has a high fidelity playback. It also features a Hi-Fi quad DAC and two advanced cameras. The dual-lens camera systems on the rear were built durable to withstand shocks and falls. The back of the device is built with Gorilla Glass 5, while the camera is covered with a Gorilla Glass 4.The first lens is 16-megapixel with laser and phase detection autofocus, while the second is a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens.

The camera is also capable of geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, and panorama.

New security features

The smartphone has the perfectly positioned rear center fingerprint scanner so that users can quickly unlock their phones with an index finger. The LG V30 can be unlocked using a Knock Code, unlock pattern, PIN code, facial recognition and voice recognition.

The Knock Code is LG’s unique way of unlocking the smartphone. Users should not completely trust the Voice recognition and facial recognition because it can be easily fooled by other voices and photos. Users can also use the Google Smart Lock on the LG V30.

The device runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat, which is paired with a 4GB of RAM.

The LG V30 is using a non-removable 3,300mAh battery cell, same capacity used on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8. The LG V30’s display screen looks like Samsung’s Infinity Display, but the company might call the design as “FullVision.”
