As we inch Closer And Closer to Apple’s September Keynote, the more frequent we see iPhone 8, 7S and 7S Plus leaks. Today is no exception as a new set of images of what seems to be a wireless charging pad has been leaked on Weibo.
Legit Apple components?
These are not just simple wireless charging pads though, as reports claim that these images are samples of what could be a sign of wireless charging capability for Apple’s next generation iPhones. Wireless charging has long been rumored and predicted by several leaksters in the past few months.

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo went as far as saying that all three new iPhone’s that will be released this year will support wireless charging.
He also mentioned that wireless charging is possible as the iPhone 8, 7S and 7S Plus would all sport an all glass design.
iOS not ready for wireless charging
Despite all of these hardware enhancements for the next generation of iPhones to support wireless charging, experts believe that it’s Apple’s iOS software that would cause several delays for the feature. Apple blogger John Gruber also added that the inductive charging accessory won’t be released alongside the iPhone 8, 7S and 7S Plus. Instead, it would be released at the same time an iOS 11 update is ready to support wireless charging.
I’ve heard that inductive charging will (a) be sold separately, and (b) might be late, waiting for iOS 11.1 (a la Portrait mode last year). https://t.co/N65dHMNQIJ

Snappy and reliable Face ID?
Earlier this month, we have witnessed a ton of leaks courtesy of the HomePod firmware update.
One of those leaks includes integrating 3D facial detection on the 10th-anniversary iPhone. This discovered code resulted to rumors of Apple finally ditching Touch ID and with reports of Apple failing to integrate an on-screen fingerprint scanner on the new OLED displays, 3D facial detection seems to be the way to go.
In terms of Face ID’s performance, an anonymous source recently tipped The Korea Herald that Apple new facial detection technology feature will work in millionths of a second speed.
This capability would also be present not just on the iPhone 8’s front shooter but also at the rear camera as well.
Another one!
Speaking of OLED displays, another alleged leaked image of the next Apple flagship smartphone has surfaced online. This time, featuring it's probable OLED display assembly, as well as its flex cable setup.
However, this image features no groundbreaking new information and just proves that past leaks just might be correct in regards to what the next Apple flagship iPhone might just look like.
