Week 11 of the NFL schedule gets underway this evening when the Green Bay Packers travel to the west coast to take on the Seattle Seahawks in a huge NFC matchup. With both teams in the jumbled NFC wild card race, this game could literally make or break their season.

Win or else

Heading into Week 11, 90-percent of the league is still alive in the postseason hunt, however several of those team with 3-6 or 4-5 records are getting into dangerous territory. Teams like the Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, and Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars are almost in must-win situations already.

According to a CBS Sports report, a perfect example of a must-win game will feature two 4-5 teams when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.

Both the Cowboys and Falcons came into 2018 with high expectations, yet they both have stumbled out of the gate in a big way. The Falcons are coming off of a horrible loss to the Cleveland Browns last week, while the Cowboys are on the upswing after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles. Momentum is one thing that is hard to figure out in the NFL.

While you would think the Falcons would be down and out after losing last week, a win against the Cowboys will put them right back into serious wild card contention. The up-down theory in the NFL can be draining not just for the players, but the fans as well!

Big games

Yes, it is cliche, but every game outside of the Raiders facing the Cardinals has playoff implications - even the Bucs at the Giants!

The Detroit Lions are in a must-win as they host the Panthers, while Jacksonville is also in the same boat with Detroit as they desperately need a victory over Pittsburgh to salvage any postseason hope.

The amazing thing is 3-6 teams like Detroit and Jacksonville are very much alive - if they can win this week that is. A loss may start the beginning process of who they want to draft next in 2019.
