The NFL schedule for Week 9 is set to begin Thursday evening when the Oakland Raiders take on the San Francisco 49ers from Levi's Stadium. Back in September, many NFL experts and fans of these two teams had this game circled as must-see action.

Unfortunately, injuries and underachieving have put both the Raiders and Niners already looking towards next season. Nevertheless, that doesn't’ mean they don't want to earn a win this Thursday - especially under the national spotlight.

Texans, Steelers look to keep rolling

Outside of the LA Rams, no one is hotter right now than the Houston Texans.

According to CBS Sports, after losing their first three games, the Texans have won five straight. They will look for their sixth straight victory Sunday afternoon when they travel to Denver to face the Broncos.

Another team that sputtered out of the gate early but has since pulled things together are the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have learned how to live life without running back Le'Veon Bell - and so far so good.

After starting 1-2-1, the Steelers have rolled off three wins in a row and taken over the AFC Central. This week the Steelers travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in a key divisional battle.

Once again this week's NFL schedule will see a lot of key games in terms of division standings.

The Steelers take on the Ravens, the Detroit Lions travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings and the LA Rams take on the New Orleans Saints. Last week the picks finished under .500 at 2-3, but overall, the selections are doing great on the season.
