The Big Ten schedule for Week 10 will get underway at high noon from Columbus, Ohio when the Nebraska Cornhuskers take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Huskers will look to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the year against OSU as they try to win their third straight game after dropping the first six of the season.
Must see action
With just a few weeks left in the season, every game in November is a must win. In terms of Top 25 rankings and a possible playoff position this week in the Big Ten, none are bigger than Nebraska at Ohio State and Penn State at Michigan.
According to CBS Sports, the Huskers are three-touchdown underdogs to the Buckeyes this weekend, but Big Red knows that even at 2-6, they have a lot to play for. Huskers linebacker Mohamed Barry knows that OSU will have a chip on their shoulder following their loss to Purdue two weeks ago, but Barry also knows what a win in Columbus could do for Nebraska’s season - and an outside shot of a bowl berth.
Barry said he knows OSU will be prepared in the first quarter to play their best football of the season, however, if the Huskers can resist the wave, they expect to play well this weekend.
"How you handle that is your alignment, assignments, your execution, have to withstand the fire they're going to bring in the first quarter," Barry told reporters
The Huskers know if they defeat OSU and improve to 3-6, they have a very realistic chance at winning six in a row to end the season.
The other big game of the week is Penn State facing Michigan. The Nittany Lions are a 10-point underdog to the Wolverines, who are playing their best football in years. Michigan has one of the best defenses in the land and they are more than ready to make a run at the NCAA postseason this December.
