Sri Lanka is set to miss Dinesh Chandimal for the Asia cup while Akila Dananjaya will be unavailable for selection for the first two games.
Sri Lanka also suffered a major setback when According to Cricbuzz, Danshuka Gunathilaka was ruled out of the tournament just a couple of days prior to the opening game. Amongst all of this, the Lankans are still set to find a balance to their side.

Liton Das to open with Tamim for Bangladesh
Bangladesh is coming into the tournament after a historic series win the Caribbean in July. Overall, the Tigers have a settled unit except for a few places they would like to fix on with the world cup starting in just over 9 months.
Bangladesh is yet to find a suitable partner of Tamim Iqbal to open the innings, but Liton Das might get the position for the Asia Cup.
Shabbir Rahman's suspension has also opened up the spot at No. 7.

Tomorrow, Sept. 16, 2018, Pakistan will play its first game against new entrants Hong Kong.
