Will a Floyd Mayweather vs. T.I. fight hit Showtime pay-per-view soon? There has been no shortage of boxers or fighters calling out the all-time greatest in the history of the sport. Now, Floyd Mayweather can add hip-hop artist T.I., real name Clifford Harris, to his list of potential opponents. The rap star's recent call out seems to suggest that maybe the beef isn't over between him and "Money Mayweather."

T.I. ready for a fight?

Rapper T.I. and Floyd Mayweather have been seemingly involved in a beef since 2014. Part of the beef involved T.I.'s wife, Tiny, and Mayweather, as well as a fight that broke out in Las Vegas.

A lot of trash-talking was also involved as part of their feud, but now it looks like T.I. wants to settle it in the ring -- with a hefty payday.

As Hip Hop Overload recently reported, rapper T.I. has been busy training. The hip-hop star posted photos online showing a sparring session with gloves on and a more chiseled look. It wasn't just the pics that caught attention, as he also had an interesting caption.

"I'll Fight Floyd Mayweather For $100 Mill...," T.I. said. "Tell That Soft A— Champ To Respond If Y'all Wanna See This Fight," he added, while also saying to Showtime, "I'm reaching out publicly."

That appears to be a good sign that a challenge has been put in place. T.I. realizes that being on the losing side of a fight can also pay handsomely.

So far, there hasn't been anything official from Mayweather or his people about taking that fight. However, it seems like T.I. may be in line with a few other potential contenders at the moment.

Floyd Mayweather's future fights

While Floyd "Money" Mayweather was said to have retired after defeating mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor in a boxing match last year, that hasn't stopped rumors from swirling.

The latest of those have involved McGregor again, indicating that Floyd might try to step into the Octagon for a UFC fight against McGregor. However, most fans know that right now McGregor isn't in the best standing with the UFC after the bus attack that he and his crew were involved in just last month -- which led to criminal charges against the UFC champ.

Still, there is another boxer that tossed Floyd Mayweather's name out there. For the past year or so, there has been talk that maybe Manny Pacquiao would get another shot at Mayweather. Pacquaio said in a recent interview with World Boxing News that he hopes Floyd will "come out of retirement" so he can get that rematch he has wanted to happen.

Rising boxing star Gervonta Davis has also had some recent issues with Floyd based on Mayweather promotions. Just a few days ago, Davis suggested on Twitter that they could settle their differences by sparring in the ring. So it seems Floyd has no shortage of people wanting a fight, wanting to practice, or wanting to make some money from being in the ring with him.

Publicity helps, right?

If somehow a Floyd Mayweather vs. T.I. boxing match actually gets booked, one has to think that the odds are seriously on the side of the undefeated legend. Still, one has to admire T.I.'s attempt to bait Floyd into helping him get a payday.
