Prior to last week's episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE was advertising a Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar face-off, however, the advertised confrontation didn't end up taking place, which led to Reigns ripping Lesnar for not being at the show, and "running around Las Vegas with Dana White."

The confrontation that was supposed to take place last week, will take place next week in Detroit, Michigan, as current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will make his return to television, and go face-to-face with Roman Reigns.

Lesnar leaving WWE?

Brock Lesnar's current WWE contract will expire after his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34, and, at least as of right now, it looks like the current WWE universal champ is considering a return to the UFC following his match with Reigns in New Orleans.

Lesnar was in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was the site of WWE's Elimination Chamber show, while the show was going on, but instead of being at the show, he was hanging out with UFC president Dana White, as you can see in the Instagram post below.

Lesnar has a 35-second match at WWE live event

WWE had a live event in Chicago, Illinois over the weekend which featured a match between Kane and Brock Lesnar. According to reports from the fans at the show, everyone was excited to see Lesnar when he made his entrance, however, they were furious when he won in just 35 seconds.

It's certainly possible that Lesnar is intending on returning to the UFC, and because of that, he's not willing to do anything that would put a potential return to the Octagon in jeopardy.

He did the same thing back in 2016 prior to him returning to fight Mark Hunt.

Of course, one would expect Lesnar's upcoming match with Roman Reigns to be much longer than just 35 seconds, although if Lesnar is planning on a UFC return following WrestleMania 34, their match probably won't end up being as hard-hitting as their first match was back at WrestleMania 31.

Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns face-off on Raw

Paul Heyman, who is Brock Lesnar's advocate, appeared on this past Monday's episode of Raw to let everyone know about Lesnar's appearance next week, and to hype the face-off between his client and Roman Reigns.

Following Heyman's announcement, Reigns hit the ring and told Heyman that he doesn't want Brock Lesnar to prepare for a "promo segment" next week.

Instead, he wants Lesnar to prepare for a war.

As previously mentioned, next week's show will take place in Detroit, Michigan. The show should end up doing a great number, as both Lesnar and Ronda Rousey are being advertised for the show.
