Back in the spring of 2015, ex-UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut at WrestleMania 31, as she helped The Rock take out both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Now, three years later, she's finally going to make her in-ring debut, however, The Rock won't be teaming with Rousey at this year's WrestleMania in New Orleans.

Instead, Rousey's partner will be current Raw general manager Kurt Angle, who hasn't performed at a WrestleMania since 2006, where he took on both Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton in a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Of course, Angle has had a few matches since returning to WWE via the Hall of Fame last spring, but this will definitely be the biggest one since his return.

The Rock not appearing at WrestleMania 34?

As previously mentioned, WWE's original idea was to have Rousey team with The Rock to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, hence why they teamed up back at WrestleMania 31 to kick off the feud. But, it looks like The Rock won't be wrestling at this year's event, because if he were to be involved in a match on the show, this would be the one.

Will The Rock appear at Wrestlemania 34? That's obviously to be determined. He ended up missing last year's event, which was the first time he missed the event since his return to WWE back in 2011.

Rousey teaming with Paul Heyman following WrestleMania?

It does look like current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will leave the company following WrestleMania 34 and return to the UFC. If that ends up being the case, Paul Heyman, if he stays with WWE following Lesnar's departure, will be without a client.

Many have suggested a Rousey/Heyman pairing.

In fact, the pairing has been discussed ever since Rousey first appeared for WWE back in 2015. It's a pairing that makes sense, as she'll presumably be the female version of Brock Lesnar.

Rousey lays out Stephanie McMahon on Raw

After the match was made official, Triple H attacked Kurt Angle. Stephanie McMahon then exited the ring, then attacked Rousey from behind.

Ronda completely no-sold the attack, and then hit Stephanie with a Samoan Drop.

Many believed that Rousey wouldn't get her hands on Stephanie until the WrestleMania match itself, or at the very least, the last Raw prior to the event. But, WWE decided to let her get physical with the Raw commissioner a month prior to their big match.

The ex-UFC star is being advertised for next week's Raw in Detroit, Michigan, so expect to see a follow-up at some point during next week's show.
