Even though this season hasn't been going well for the Cleveland Cavaliers, they still have the best player in the world on the roster. LeBron James, who has been playing amazing basketball this year, reminded us how good he really is. While he is much more than just a scorer, the four-time MVP was on fire last night against the Washington Wizards, scoring 57 points in 43 minutes of action.
James carried the Cavaliers to their fourth victory in nine games and he made it look easy. After the win, Cleveland improved to a 4-5 record, and while they are still far from the top, LeBron's performance will undoubtedly inspire them to play better.
isaiah thomas was definitely inspired by what he saw from his teammate as he decided to talk about it on Twitter.
Thomas tweets about LeBron's big performance
Isaiah Thomas is unable to help the Cavaliers win games as he will be out for at least two more months. There is no doubt that he watches his team, however, and he cannot wait to be back. Judging from his tweet last night, the point guard enjoyed LeBron James' performance, praising him for it.
Daaaaamn that man @KingJames was out there doing workout moves on them boys!!! Classic performance fam #RealKilla

It took LeBron only 34 shots to get to 57 points. He was incredibly efficient as he shot 67.6 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from the three-point range.
In addition, James was flawless from the charity stripe, making all nine of his free throws.
Isaiah Thomas knows a thing or two about 50-point games as he scored 52 points against the Miami Heat last season. Thomas was unstoppable as he torched the Heat from just about any position on the floor. He was 9-for-13 from the long range and 13-for-13 from the free-throw line.
Considering that Thomas will be playing with LeBron when he comes back, it won't be surprising if we see another 50-point game from the point guard.
The best game of LeBron's career?
LeBron James was only four points short of tying his career high in scoring. He set his scoring record in 2014 when he torched the Charlotte Bobcats for 61 points.
In addition, LeBron added 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 41 minutes spent on the floor.
While James' only 60-point game came while he was in Miami, last night's performance might be the best game of his career. While it's true that he scored fewer points, it's important to note that he also had 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Furthermore, he shot slightly better last night and he won a very important game that snapped the losing streak his team was on.
