The Oklahoma City Thunders defeated the Melbourne United with the score 86-85 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City in Sunday's preseason game. In front of a semi-sellout crowd, the home squad won the game with one point difference.

Paul George played well in leading the Oklahoma City Thunders in their matchup against the Melbourne United with an accumulated 22 points from his five field goal shots, three three-point shot, and nine perfect free throws.

Players who did not join in the said game were Chris Goulding, Peter Hooley and Sam Short from the United. Ten more players from the Oklahoma City Thunders also did not go off the bench.

Steven Adams with six offensive and four defensive rebounds

On Sunday's game against the Melbourne United, Steven Adams registered 12 points shots and two blocks. He also added six offensive rebounds and four defensive rebounds in his stat line. For the United, it was Casper Ware Jr. who led the team in making points.

He scored game-high 20 points for the team against the OCT. Though they lost in the match, he was able to add six rebounds, three steals, and one assist registered in this stat line. He shot 32 shooting percentage, making only 6-of-19 field goal attempts. He made two perfect three points shots for the United as well.

Casper's teammates who made double-digit scores were Tai Wesley, Josh Boone, and Casey Prather. Tai Wesley scored 13 points in 30 minutes of play while Josh Boone contributed 15 points in 29 minutes off the bench for the United. When it comes to rebounds, Casey Prather led in numbers with 10 rebounds.

Casey Prather also scored 11 points in 33 minutes for the United. He also added three assists and one steal. United with his team, they scored a total of 85 points in 34.6 shooting percentage from the field and 36 percent from the three-point line.
