The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night (October 23). With the victory, the Bucks moved to 3-1 on the season. The Bucks 47 percent from the field, 35 percent from the three-point line, and 88 percent from the free throw line. Though it was the Hornets who lead in rebounds, 48-42 in this one.

The Charlotte Hornets started off a great first quarter with 25 points, outscoring the home squad 25-18 through the first 12 minutes of action.

The Bucks answered with a 19-12 run in the first five minutes of the second quarter to tie the score at 37.

By the time halftime rolled around, though, the Hornets had a 54-53 lead.

It was a back and forth third quarter as the teams traded leads and kept the game really close on the scoreboard. The Bucks tied the score at 73 with two minutes left and had a 10-4 run to end the quarter in front, 83-77. Heading into the final quarter, the Milwaukee Bucks kept their lead throughout and celebrated a convincing win over the Charlotte Hornets, 103-94.

Antetokounmpo lead with 32 points

22-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo led his team against the Hornets with a game-high 32 points. He has scored more than 30 points in all of their four games this season. In their previous matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 21, he had a career-high 44 points.

He played 39 minutes and added 14 rebounds, six assists, a steal and two blocks against the Hornets.

Khris Middleton added 20 points for the team in 36 minutes. He also registered six rebounds, three assists, one steal and a block on this stat line. Mirza Teletovic had 15 points and five rebounds in 24 minutes, while Tony Snell helped 13 points and two assists off the bench.

Dwight Howard showcases rebounding talent

For the Charlotte Hornets, it was Frank Kaminsky who led in scoring with his 18 points. He had five rebounds and two assists in playing 35 minutes. Three more players who also contributed double-digit scoring for the team were Kemba Walker, Johnny O'Bryant III, and Jeremy Lamb.

Walker had 15 points, while Lamb added 17 points and nine rebounds and O'Bryant III helped with 14 points off the bench.

Dwight Howard was a monster on the glass again with his game-high 22 rebounds. He also shot the ball and scored eight points. The Hornets will host the Dever Nuggets on Wednesday, October 25 while the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Boston Celtics on Thursday, October 26.
